With the glimpse of gorgeous sunny weather this week, it’s time to adventure out with the family to enjoy this season. Spring brings new beginnings and new growth, which makes it the perfect time to explore the beautiful British countryside.

Walking in the woods

Vivid bluebells, daisy chains, yellow dandelions and showers of pink blossoms falling off the trees… in May, the woods come alive with spring flowers and the trees are covered with rich green leaves. This is the perfect time of year for a family walk, exploring one of the many woodlands dotted around our beautiful countryside

Muddy boots
April showers are upon us… So grab your wellies and go splashing in puddles! It’s a firm favourite with little ones (and to be honest, a lot of fun for us too).

Say hello to the animals
It’s lambing season, and a lot of farms open their doors to the public around this time of year. There are loads of activities to get up to,  as well as meeting baby farm animals. It’s a fun day out and creates lasting memories. Here’s a list of places you can visit

How about exploring your own garden? Gardening is a fantastic activity to introduce to children, it develops new skills, teaches science and helps them explore nature by growing their own food and flowers.
