If your child has any allergies please reconfirm these to the staff at the camp. They will have this information from your booking but may have more questions.

There is always a first aid trained member of staff on site who can administer EpiPens in an emergency however it is always worth briefing the camp manager if there is anything unusual in your particular case.

Please also draw attention to the allergies and location of the EpiPen on arrival. For other levels of reaction please notify staff on arrival and of how you wish us to act in the event of a reaction of any kind.

What is the camp structure

At most camps, children are split into age groups. This divide is normally done at 3yrs – 5yrs 6yrs – 8yrs (if there is a large amount of children) and 9+. If there are fewer children the two older groups are combined.

This is done so that staff can effectively structure suitable activities for the children in their care to avoid children doing activities that are not age appropriate.

This is a very flexible policy, however, it is encouraged to all parents, as often if a sibling is changed into a different group in order to stay with a brother or sister it normally causes upset for one or other.

Our staff are experienced and are particularly good at welcoming new children into groups and ensuring that they meet new friends that often they then meet outside of camp afterwards.
