We are aware of the impact of nuts as allergens and take precautions to prevent the occurrence of allergic reactions by the inadvertent consumption or contact with any of these products.
Dear Parents and Carers,
We wanted to contact you to start the conversation around the coronavirus COVID-19 and how we will be mitigating the risks to you and your children when attending camp this Easter. We would like to assure you that we have every intention of operating uninterrupted this Easter, and we will be following the government’s latest advice on how to avoid catching or spreading the virus.
It is important to be aware that in regard to the impact of the virus, ‘there is no evidence that children are more affected than other age groups.’ (Department of Education guidance document)
Each of our camps will have an enhanced focus on hygiene in addition to the measures already in place and we will be providing further training to our teams. We will also be introducing additional hand washing requirements throughout the day as well as more regular cleaning and disinfection of the camp and equipment.
Oxford Active and Active Camps is committed to the safety and welfare of your children and its staff. We will be monitoring all government advice as the situation unfolds and will issue further information closer to the start of camp covering more of the possible scenarios in more detail.
If you have any questions in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
