Camp Announcement

 

Unfortunately we have come to the very difficult decision that we are no longer able to run the planned holiday camp at St Mary’s Independent School this summer.

Despite all our efforts, we have been unable to take enough bookings to run a sustainable and enriching experience for the children who have booked to attend.  We are sorry we could not give you more notice, but we have been hoping that more families would book places and for that reason have held off cancelling for as long as possible.  I can assure you that we have not taken this decision lightly and know that it must come as a disappointment to you.

We will of course be giving you a full refund for any fees already paid and offer our sincere apologies for the inconvenience.

St Mary's Independent School

St Mary’s is an independent school in Southampton catering for boys and girls from nursery through to Year 11 in the senior department. The school is set in seventeen acres of beautiful woodland in Bitterne Park which makes it a perfect location for Active Camps

Standard hours: Open 8:15am-6:00pm

Active Camps Activities

At Active Camps  all children have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of sports, arts & crafts, games, cookery and large-scale activities. This is to encourage all areas of development which are appropriate to their age and to provide an opportunity to bond with other children and staff.

The camp is separated by age group; the exact ages can fluctuate depending on the numbers of the day, however, there is a maximum of 30 children in each group. When you arrive, there will be boards displaying the day’s breakdown and the planned activities for each group. Each group will have a designated Team Leader – their name will also be listed on the board, and they’ll be identifiable by their lanyard.
